Peach French Toast Recipe
This Peach French Toast is crispy on the outside, soft inside, and topped with caramelized peaches—a perfect 5-minute breakfast or dessert!
Ingredients (Serves 2-3):
For the French Toast:
2 eggs
½ cup milk (or any dairy-free alternative)
1 tbsp sugar or honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
4 slices of bread (brioche or thick toast works best)
1 tbsp butter or oil (for frying)
For the Caramelized Peaches:
1 large peach, sliced
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
Instructions:
Step 1: Make the French Toast Batter
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
Step 2: Cook the French Toast
Heat butter or oil in a pan over medium heat.
Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, coating both sides.
Place on the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
Step 3: Prepare the Caramelized Peaches
In the same pan, melt butter and add sliced peaches.
Sprinkle with honey (or brown sugar) and cinnamon.
Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring, until soft and caramelized.
Step 4: Assemble & Serve
Place French toast on a plate and top with warm, caramelized peaches.
Drizzle with extra honey, maple syrup, or yogurt.
