This Peach French Toast is crispy on the outside, soft inside, and topped with caramelized peaches—a perfect 5-minute breakfast or dessert!


Ingredients (Serves 2-3):

For the French Toast:

  • 2 eggs

  • ½ cup milk (or any dairy-free alternative)

  • 1 tbsp sugar or honey

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)

  • 4 slices of bread (brioche or thick toast works best)

  • 1 tbsp butter or oil (for frying)

For the Caramelized Peaches:

  • 1 large peach, sliced

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar

  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)


Instructions:

Step 1: Make the French Toast Batter

  1. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.


Step 2: Cook the French Toast

  1. Heat butter or oil in a pan over medium heat.

  2. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, coating both sides.

  3. Place on the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown.


Step 3: Prepare the Caramelized Peaches

  1. In the same pan, melt butter and add sliced peaches.

  2. Sprinkle with honey (or brown sugar) and cinnamon.

  3. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring, until soft and caramelized.


Step 4: Assemble & Serve

  1. Place French toast on a plate and top with warm, caramelized peaches.

  2. Drizzle with extra honey, maple syrup, or yogurt.
